Important note: This site is strictly for Marvel Avengers Alliance on Facebook. I claim no knowledge or expertise on the MAA game for mobile platforms. Nor am I familiar with the game as it is played on the Playdom servers. This site is strictly for the game as played on Facebook, on desktops, laptops and tablet computers.
Almost as important note: Much (not nearly all) of the tips and techniques on this site are directed at the players who either don’t spend any money, or don’t spend a lot, of money on the game. Non-spenders have to spend a lot of time farming for silver, command points, particular items, and so forth, where a spending player can (and often does) merely buy them outright. I have no bias for or against money spenders (literally, the game would not exist without them), and we do not use terms such as “wallet warriors” or “Agent MasterCard” in the site. (Neither do I call non-spenders “freeloaders” or assert that they are of less value than money-spending players.) But it is true that a non-spending player has to work harder to achieve what a money-spending player can get without effort, and there are some things a money-spending player can get that a non-spender cannot (i.e. a PVP armory stuffed with high-priced items). There’s plenty on this site to help even the wealthiest player, but not of all of it will apply to them. As with every game, skill and winning strategies have nothing to do with spending, or not spending, money.
