Tigra
Underrated hero that is useful on “bleed” teams.

- Advantages
- Causes heavy damage to vulnerable targets.
- Does well as part of a “bleed team.”
- Disadvantages
- Takes 1-2 rounds to begin doling out heavy damage.
- Unlike most infiltrators, her attacks are not Stealthy.
Tigra is a secondary character in the Marvel universe. She is like a weaker, infiltrator version of X-23, the bruiser with the vicious claw attacks. She does decent damage with her attacks, and inflicts Bleeding, Shred and other related debuffs. Many players (including myself) like to field the so-called “bleed teams,” and if you don”t have Elektra, you might be interested in Tigra as an infiltrator for those teams.
Her first attack gives her the Sharpened Claws buff, which increases her damage after that hit. Her second attack (a Quick Action with a one-round cooldown) inflicts Hemorraghing on the target, which causes subsequent damage after the attack in the form of supposed “blood loss.” (No worries about the visuals; this game isn”t Mortal Kombat and doesn't actually show gouts of blood spilling across your screen.) Her fourth attack is her only area attack, and with its three-round cooldown, is only available once per most battles. It gives her a follow-up attack if a target is already Bleeding. Probably her best attack is her third single-target melee attack, Tiger’s Fury, because it gives her the buff of the same name, which increases her attack and defense (and cannot be removed by the usual buff/debuff removers). Unfortunately, it does not inflict Bleeding itself, so it is not always her best opening move.
Her initial stats for attack and defense are fairly low, so it’s going to take you some time to level and chip her up to full effectiveness. On the other hand, she starts out with good stamina, and most of her attacks are fairly undemanding on her stamina, so she doesn’t have to worry as much about stamina as some other heroes.
PVP: Tigra is not particularly useful in PVP, not because she is particularly weak, but because there are other heroes out there such as Elektra and Sabretooth who bring more to the battle than she does.
Alternate Uniforms: She has none at this time.
Strategy Suggestions
If you’re going to use her in battle, pair her with another hero who also inflicts Bleeding and an agent who offers some protection, and slice your opponents to ribbons. That’s what she does, and she does it very well if paired with someone like Sabretooth, Black Panther, Black Knight, Wolverine or X-23. Against non-bleeding opponents, she is much less valuable.
Her battle strategy is pretty straightforward: use her Razor Claws first to get the opponent bleeding and give herself Sharpened Claws, and on the second round hit the opponent with Swipe and Tiger’s Fury to get her fully going. Repeat as needed and “watch” the blood spill. Use the area attack if there are no Scrappers in the crowd to gain Close Quarters Combat from being hit.
